Everly, Purdue University entomologist, came through Adams county today taking a survey of early chinch bug damage. Everly told county agent T< E. Archbold that he had just visited the Allen county extension office, and they had several reports, of chinch bug damage around Poe. Several reports of insects id thte county from Preble, St. Mary’s, Blue Creek and Jefferson town, ships have been recorded.
