Klenk’s Beats McComb To End Losing Streak Klenk’s ended a brief two-game losing streak Tuesday night, whipping McComb Construction, 9-1, at Dwenger park in Fort Wayne, in a battle for second place in the Federation league. — —■*— These same two teams will vie agafn Thursday night at Worthman field here at 8 p.m. Lgst night’s tilt was a close battle for seven innings, but Klenk’s broke throUgh for six runs in the eighth to put the game on ice. The second scheduled game between the Yankees and Indians was postponed to a later date because of the league rules which prohibit any inning starting after 9:30 o’clock. These team* played three practice innings. The Red Sox took a 5-0 lead in the first two innings last night, but the White Sox came back for four tallies in the third and tied the score with one in the sixth, after two were out, to send the game into extra innings. After two scoreless innings, the White Sox counted twice in the top of the ninth on a walk and two hits, but the Red Sox canSe back in the last -of the ninth for three runs and the ball game on three walks, one hit and an error.
