The princess and her party glumly walked out of the night club where they were celebrating the opening after reading the critics’ comments. Margaret arrived at the Scala Theater for the first of three benefit performances an bour before the curtain was scheduled to go up. She hurried to the players’ dressing rooms to give them encouragement and then attended to final details of the staging. The London critics expressed that right—with tongue in cheekin this mornings' papers.
