Woman Injured In Mysterious Mishap Mrs. Harold Elwell, Bryant, is a patient at Adams county memorial hospital following a mysterious automobile mishap. Mrs. Elwell either jumped or was pushed from an automobile Saturday night in Berne. The car was driven by her husband, who later >-was charged with driving on the wrong side of a street in Berne. He told investigating police that he was taking his wife to a doctor. Later, Mrs. was brought to Decatur. She has several facial cuts and bruises and yesterday she told a police officer that she received them in a jump from her car. Her condition is reported to be not serious. SECY.
