Light Schedule For Big Ten's Net Quintets CHICAGO, UP —Only four Big Ten cage games were scheduled this week as moat of the teams continued semester examinations or were slated to get back into action after a mid-term vacation. Eight of the Id teams in the circuit will appear, but only 6 clubs will meet conference foes, Monday, Northwestern plays at lowa and Purdue at Minnesota, while league games Saturday will be Michigan State at Minnesota and Ohio State at Purdue. Non-conference battles will be Northwestern at Butler Friday, and Washington of St. Louis at Michigan and Illinois vs DePaul at Chicago Saturday. The games will be the first for Michigan and Illinois since Jan. 16. Indiana, the league leader with six wins and no defeats, will return to the courts Feb. 1, meeting Louisville in a non-conference battle. lowa and Minnesota, the second and third place teams, stayed on the Hoosiers' heels Saturday. The Hawkeyes downed Purdue, 7ff-62, for their fifth win in six games as Bill Logan score 16 points.

It was St. Joe’s seventh straight win in league play and their 13th victory in 14 games this season. The Decatur team led at all periods, 6-0, 14-8 and 18-16. Reed was leading scorer for St. Joe with 10 points, while Mathews and Kleinhard each tallied seven for the losers. The IHSAA has also come up with its annual warning on souvenir programs for the tourneys. As for years, souvenir programs other than those provided by the IHSAA shall not he distributed or sold at any tourney, and no solicitation of advertisements shall be. the board of control or the commission's office will approve the distribution Os such material at any tourney.
