The well known couple flew-to Tucson, Ariz., and then proceeded to Nogales tor the marriage ceremony which was performed by the parish priest. The very full sklrtf of,tulle over matching taffeta was ankle length. She wore matching and her eye veil was held in place by a sequin band. She carried an arm bouquet of pink carnations and Wore rhinestone - earrings, necklace, and bracelet, gifts from the' bride. Darrel D. Arnold of Lawton, Okla., brother of the groom, served as best man. Guests were seated by Dee Myran Byerly brother of the bride; Harold K. Her selections included “Adantino,” "I Love Thee,” “Through the Years,” "Traumeii,” and “Midsumhier Night's Dream.” Mike Ruhland of Toledo, 0., sang “At Dawning,” “Oh Promise Me,” and “The Wed ding Prayer’’ while the couple knelt at the altar. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was lovely in a gown of white satin. The fitted bodice was styled with a Victorian collar and was studded with sequins and seed pearl embroidery. The full skirt ended In a cathedral length train. Her finger-tip veil of illusion was caught to a Juliet cap of seed pearls and she carried a white moire Bible topped with a purple-throated orchid and adorned with fern and streamers of lovers' knots. Her only Jewelry was tiny pearl gifts of the groom. Mrs. Mike Ruhland attended as , matron of honor in a gown, of scarlet red velvet styled with a temi-boal neckline and Shirred elbow length sleevers. The skirt was made on flowing gored lines. She wore a matching velvet head piece with an eye veil and carried a white velvet muff with two , large red poinsettias, streamers, and Christmas bells. Wearing identically styled gowns in forest green velvet were ’ the bridesmaids, Mrs. Dewey Jackson and Miss Jane Bollenbacher. All attendants wore pearl chokers, . gifts of the bride. —— . The little flower girl, Miss Kay Fuhrman, was attired In a white satin dress similar to that of the , bride. She wore a white velvet Juliet headpiece with an eye veil and carried a white satin basket of red and white’ poinsettias. Her pearl necklace was a gift of the bride. ’ 1 BilJ Beerbower served hia broth er as best man and ushers were Dean French,' Jim Temple,, and Dick Stallters. Bobby Dailey served as ring bearer. For her daughter’s wedding, MrsFrench chose a brown crepe dress with beige and brown accessories. Her corsage was an arrangement of yellow roses. Mrs. Beerbower wore a plum taffeta dress accented with pink and black accessories. She wore a corsage of pink roses. ,7 Mrs. Roy French and Mrs. Fran cis Fuhrman, grandmothers of the bride, wore corsages of pink carnations. A reception for approximately 250 guests followed the ceremony in the church social room. When the couple left for a wed ding trip, the bride was wearing a hunter green knit suit and brown and winter white accessories. She wore the orchid from the bridal bouquet. Upon their return the couple will reside in Columbus, 0.. where the groom will continue his civil engineering studies at Ohio State university, and the new’ Mrs. Beerbower will be employed as a nurse in the Ohio State university hospital. MISS SHIRLEY RUPERT ENGAGED TO MARRY Mr. and Mrs. Glen Rupert of near Decatur announce the en gagement of their daughter, Shirley Ann, to Pfc. Carl Eugene Hurst, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hurst of near Decatur. Miss Rupert is attending the Adams Central high school, and her fiance is serving with the U. S. marines in Japan.
