Y., UP — The 30-odd women and their foreman in the temple manufacturing department of an optical plant here have learned the sign language In order to communicate with a fel« low worker, Esther Perry. Miss Perry, who went to work at the Shuron' plant in 1920, is a drill press operator. .She helped her original associates learn the sign language, and newcomers through the years also took it up.
