SgYW VI H \ r J—f T 3 Byt EDWARD HEIMAN ■ ’ ‘ \ ■ j i We read where an eminent college psychologist claims a connection between cold feet and heavy smoking. According | to this learned gentleman, if you are a heavy smoker (a pack or more a day) and you cut down substantially, you may have I less trouble with frosty tootsies. It seems that Immediately following a smoke, a skin temperature drops as much as 10% in a big percentage of smokers and the feet are on the receiving end of most of this loss. Smoking in cold weather tends to create even more goose pimples in the region of ybur pedal extremities. , . ii. ■. - ■ j ' i l t Another idea offered by our informarft is that the movements Involved in smoking help to maintain the habit. In other words, taking out the park, shaking out a coffin I nail are very satisfying parts of the average smoker’s routine. At" any rate, as we see it. most people get cold feet at the very thought of stopping smoking. And some people get cold feet at the thought of CHRISTI , | MAS SHOPPING . - . but yours can remain warm as toast It you bring your list to DECATUR GIFT CENTER ... for we . have the RIGHT gift, tor the RIGHT person at the RIGHT price!
