Clothing Drive At St. Mary's Parish Thte annual Thanksgiving clothing* drive for refugees is in progress in St. Mary’s parish. Women of the Rosary society are in charge and persons who wish to contribute wearable clothing are asked to take it to the Catholic school. The clothing will be sorted and packed and forwarded to a designated shipping point and later shipped overseas. The Catholic clothing drive is sponsored by the Most Rev. John Francis Noll, I). I)., bishop of. Fort Wayne. Last year many tons of clothing were contributed and St. Marys parish was one of the leaders in the diocese in number of boxes of clothing donated to the drive. The clothing is distri-J buted to refugees in Europe and ’ , Asia, 'including Korea. Mrs. C. E. Bell In Fort Wayne Hospital .Mrs. C. E. Bell is a patient at St. Joseph hospital in Fort Wayne, where she [was scheduled to undergo surgery this morning. The surgeons, after examination, discovered that an operation was not necessary at this time.
