The bride given in marriage by her father, was lovely in- an ire blue satin gown beautiful with Chantilly lace and a yoke outlined with a double row of fluted tulle in a bertha design. Fitted white lace sleeves were lined with ice blue satin and fell to points over her ( hands. The three tiered bouffant skirt of tulle-over-taffeta cascaded into a <-hapel length train. An ice blue half-hat held her finger-tip veil of Swiss illusion, and she wore a white-gold cross, a ! gift of the bridegroom. She earned a Bible topped with a white orchid and white satin streamers. tMiss Norma Confad attended is maid of honor. Her t gown wis styled in fall blue nct-over-taffeta and featured it net stole wi,th ? matching half-hat. Miss Elaine r reels and Miss Virginia Mitchell, cousin of the,bridegroom. were bridesmaids in identical gowns of pink with matching hats, and Conrad and Miss Sharon -Butz, cousin of the br\de, were attired in waltz length gowns of nile ween net-over-taffeta with matching , hats. All the attendants carried colonial bouquets of yellow roses an! ’ wore rhinestone bracelets, gifts o. the bride. As flow’er girl,. Miss Lihda Jo Butz, cousin of the bride, wore a ruffled pink nylon dress and carried a miniature colonial bouquet of yellow rosebuds. Both wore white orchid corsages. .Mrs. Emily Mitchel, the bridegroom’s grandmother, selected a blue dress vfith black accessories and also wore a white orchid corsage. A reception for approximately 300 guests’ was held in the church baseinent following the ceremony. Pink and blue were the colors used for decorating ptirposas. Unit 43 of the, American Legion auxiliary will hold a social meeting Friday evening at eight o’clock at tfte Legion home. The meeting of rhe Adams County Roadside counsel has been postponed until December 4 at the Decatur public library at seven-thir-ty o’clock.
