HARBERT-HUNT NUPTIALS READ SUNDAY Sunday Mrs. Selma Harbert. Fort Wayne, became the bride of Keith A. Hunt. Decatur in the Zion Lutheran church, Fort Wayne. Mrs. Harbert is the daughter of Mrs. Carl Koeneman and the late Mr. Koeneman of Decatur, and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. William Hunt, also \(A Decatur. The Rev. Herman H. Heine officiated at the double-ring ceremony before an altar banked with baskets of gladiolus and pompoms and candelabra. Raymond Beights, organist, presented a fifteen minute musicale preceding the ceremony. and Mrs. Raymond Beights. vocalist,. sang "Take Thou Their r Hands and Lead Them” and "The Lord's Prayer” during the ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Louis Krueckeberg, appeared in. a gown of blush pink chantilly lace over satin. The bodice was fashioned with a portrait neckline of nylon, and the softly gathered skirt extended in a chapel-length train. She wore a matching lace hat and lace mitts. Pearl earrings and necklace, gifts from the groom, were also worn. Her bridal bouquet was composed of Briarcliff roses, garlands of pink carnations, and was centered

with a pink orchid. The matron of honor, Mrs. Clyde Smith of Fort Wayne, selected a princess style ballerina length gown of dusty rose velvet with matching bonnet. She carried a bouquet of pink mums and pompons. j Mrs. Lewis Hendricks and Miss Betty Swift, both of Fort Wayne, served as bridesmaids. They chose ballerina length gowns of light blue velvet with matching halfhats. Their bouquets included mums with pompons. All the attendants wore rhinestone necklaces and earrings which were gifts from the bride. Kandyce Kay 'Harbert, daughter of the bride, and Susan Kay Hendricks, attended as flower ! girls. They were attired in floor length dresses of deep blue velvet with Snatching half-hats, and they carried baskets of yellow pompons. Their gold ' bracelets were gifts from the bride. Dale Hunt, Decatur, served his brother as best man. Guests were seated by Byrl Hunt of Decatur, also a brother of the groom, and Clyde Smith. Fort Wayne. Mrs. Louis Krueckeberg, sister of the bride, chose a dress of dusty rose taffeta and completed her ensemble with a corsage of pink roses. The groom’s mother was attired in a teal colored suitdress accented with a corsage of yellow roses. Immediately following the ceremony, a reception for approximately 300 guests was held at the American-Macedonian hall. For a two weeks trip through the west, the bride, changed to a green wool crepe suit-dress with bronze accessories and the orchid from her bridal bouquet. Upon their return the couple will reside at 4212 Robinwood Drive, Fort Wayne. PHILALETHEAN~ CIRCLE \ CONVENES WEDNESDAY The Philaletheari circle of the. Zion Evangelical land .Reformed Church met Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Leland Frank. Mrs. Floyd Hunter gave interesting reviews on the topics, “Living Abundantly” and “Tomorrow" for the book, “These Rights We Hold.” She also read excerpts from Dr. Biegelieisen’s book, “Daily Devotions." Mrs. Albert Brushwiler presided during the business meeting and gave a report concerning the proceeds from the luncheon which the circle sponsored for the Women’s guild. Delicious refreshments were served by the hostess, assisted by Mrs. Hunter. ' WOMEN OF MOOSE ENJOY SOCIAL MEETING The Women of the Moose met last evening at the Moose home for a social meeting. Violet Walchle. Mooseheart chairman, was in charge of the social hour, which followed the business meeting. At this time the members who enjoyed the tour to Washington gave interesting accounts of their trip. Alma Goelz received the door prize. The next meeting will be a formal initiation November 12. HALOWEEN PARTY ENJOYED BY SORORITY Members of the Epsilon Sigma chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and their guests enjoyed a Halloween box social at the home of Mr. and iMrs. Robert Hess. On arriving, everyone was led to the basement where they were met by a witch stirring her brew. The basement was cleverly decorated in keeping with the holiday season 'Mrs. Gerald Martin won the prize for the best-dressed character. After unrhasking, a scavenger lyint was held, . and numerous

Mrs. Carl Hurst then spoke oi “Growth Towards the World”, and Mrs. Edward Cook gave a report entitled. “What We are Doing about Boys and Girls who are Going Wrong’.’. Games were I enjoyed by sixteen members and t prizes were awarded to the winners of tht traditional Halloweeh games. A delicious lunch of cup cakes, jello salad and coffee was served by the hostesses, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Boat and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jlamerick. The class has decided to help serve as sponsors and supervisors of-a recreational program to be held in the lower auditorium of the church for the youth of the church. The Builder's class is taught by Mr. Weldon Soldner and is composed of young adults.
