Frasier, a- native of Winona, Minn., first gained nationwide attention at the age of 17 when he modelled "the end of the trail”, ■showing a tired Indian on a horse. This and the buffalo nickel depicted scenes seen in his youth in the Dakota territory.

Ind., UP — The body of Clyde Chestebn, 20, Metamora, was found in a parked car oh U. S. 52 here Sunday, and authorities believed he died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Jack Ferman, 19, Metamora, who said he and Chatseen had gone to the car to sleep, was found in a dazed condition about a half block away. Franklin County Sheriff James F. Hixon quoted Ferman as saying he remembered nothing except being awakened in the back seat of the car and stumbling out. The motor had been left running.
Sen. McCarthy Cuts His Honeymoon Short Ends Honeymoon To Resume Red Probe APPLETON, Wig. UP — Sen. Joseph McCarthy, a bridegroom of less than two weeks, cut short his honeymoon to resume his investigation "of what he terms “an extremely important” case of “current espionage.” The Wisconsin Republican left the airport here by private plane and was expected to arrive in New York City in time for an afternoon, hearing into the recent suspension ot several Ft. Monmouth, N. J., employes as “security risks!” McCarthy cut short his planned three-week honeymoon with his bride, the former Jean Kerr, once the senator’s staff aide. McCarthy, chairman of a senate investigations subcommittee, said Sunday his staff had been working several months on the investigation of alleged radar security leaks at Et. Monmouth. “It appears to be a case of current espionage of an extremely dangerous nature,” he said. He did not name any prospective hearing witnesses but said more than 100 had been interviewed: and a “great number” have been subpenaed. McCarthy and his bride have been visiting friends at his hojne town for the past two days. Th«y were guests at the home of Atty. Urban Van Susteren, a close friend., \ McCarthy and his bride left for New York aboard a privatelyowned plane loaned to them for the duration of his honeymoon by a political supporter. Graham, Layne Dominate Pro Football Loop NEW YORK UP —Two quarterbacks —Otto Graham of the Cleveland Browns and Bobby Layne of the Detroit Lions—are dominating the 1953 National Football League season. Cleveland opened its eighth home v season and strengthened Rs bld for an unprecedented eighth straight division title Saturday night with a 37-13 triumph over the Philadelphia Eagles. Graham completed 26 out of 30 passes for 297 yards as Cleveland made Rs record 3-0 in the Eastern Conference. .
