Albert Fitzgerald Reelected UE Head Union Convention Is On In Chicago CHICAGO — Albert J. Fitzgerald of Lynn, Mass., was reelected president of the United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America (UE) at theAlSth national convention of the union in session here. This is Fitzgerald’s 13th consecutive term as president of UE- General secretary-treasurer Julius Emspak of Schenectady, N. Y., was also reelected. James J. Mattes of New York city, was reelected director Os organization. \ All officers were elected by unanimous vote of the delegates who number over 500, representing 320,000 UE workers in the nation.
