Mrs. Edith Bailey gave the lesson. entitled “Our Father's Temple.” Following prayer, offered by Mrs. Bailey, a business meeting was.held. Lovely refreshments were later served by Mrs. Durbin, Mrs. Glenn Mann and Mrs. R. H, Everett. The executive committee 2 of the Decatur Woman’s , club will' have an important meeting tonight at seven thirty o’clock at the -home of Mrs. Roy Kalver. The Aeolian choir will have rehearsal Thursday evening at seven o’clock in the music room at Decatur high school. An all day meeting of the Ladites Aid society -of Union Chapel church will be held Thursday at the church. A pot-luck dinner will be served at noon, followed by sewing and quilting. All ladies of the church’are invited. The St. Mark’s Lutheran school near Ossian has added a second primary for the coming year, necessary because of the increase in attendance. She is Miss Georgia Nicolaus of. Kirchhayn. Wis. She is a graduate of DartBurg college. She was inducted yesterday by the Rev. W. L. Kalk. > Walter who taught at Monmouth’ last year, has accepted a position at Decatur Central school in Indianapolis and is moving to that city. Miss Edna Stuery of Berne will teach the third grade in the Plymouth city school the coming year. She is a graduate of Manchester college, i £ Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Petrie and family have returned home after a 10-day visit in New York. Mr. and Mrs. Hdwell UAiff are vacationing at their at Turkey lake this week. ’ Mrs. Lil Burroughs is spending two Weeks in Lansing, Mich., visiting her sister, Mrs. Dell VariCamp.
