Fort Wayne, Celebrated their fifteenth wedding anniversary with a renewal of their marriage vows, in a double ring ceremony. Saturday, August 8, in St. Paul Lutheran church in 'Fort Wayne. (A fifteen-minute musicale preceded the vows, which were read by the ReV. E. Nergc. White asters end gladiolus flanked the alter. (Mrs. Jones wore a powder blue voßle dress with a feather hat to match. Her jewelry, a rhinestone Necklace and earrings, were a gift from the grOom. She carried a white prayer book and wore a wrist corsage of pink roses. [■After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Jones home for 31 guests, which included Mr. and (Mrs. -Miles Jones, of Valparaiso, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sp.eigel, Mrs. 'Myrtle Jones .and Mrs. Curtis Jones of Decatur. BLOMENBERG REUNION HELD SUNDAY Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Busick were host and hostess to the annual Blomenberg reunion which was held Sunday. Following a pot'luek, dinner, a ball game was enjoyed on the front lawn and airplane rides were given by Elfert" Bl.omenberg. An evening meal was also served. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. T. W. L. Kbontz, South First street. The Decatur vacationers returned by train from Tacoma,- via; Chicago and Fort Wayne. Besides the immediate family, the gathering was joined by Mrs. Idabelle Alton. Mrs. Lili Burroughs, Mrs. Bertha Rica,, Mr; and Mrs. Homer Reace, Kip andfßret Lutes of this city, and Mrs. Jennie Rash of Indianapolis. Miss Marion Koontz assisted in serving. 7~ • FAREWELL PARTY HELD FOR MARGARET HARRIS; A farewell party was held for Miss Margaret Harris, formerly employed in the diet kitchen at the Adams county memorial’ hospital, Tuesday evening by the diet kitchen employes, at the home of Mrs. Betty Painter, The honored guest, who is leaving to attend Ball State college, Muncie, was presentedi with many lovely and useful gifts at this time. TRINITY W. S. W. S. MEETS TUESDAY Tuesday evening, a regular monthly meeting of the Women’s Society of World Service: of the Trinity Evangelical United Brethren was held in the church. Mrs. Bob Robenold was program leader for the evening and the prelude', “Take Time to be Holy." was played by Mrs. Frank Bohyke Scripture was given from Matthew, 15th chapter, by Mrs. Addie Andrews. Mrs. R. O. Wynn offered prayer followed with the hymn. “Take My Life," sung in unison. The lesson on* sharing- good news in new ways was presented as a radices program, ; Mrs. Frank Behnke was the announcer, Mrs. John Chambers,i the typical Mrs. Missionary, and Mrs. Frank Kitson as Mrs. Mission Board Executive. Mrs. Sephiis Jackson, president, conducted the business session. Lovely refreshments were served to fourteen members, two guests and two children during a social hour by the hostesses, Mrs. John Kelly, Mrs. Herald Hitchcock and Mrs. R. O. Wynn. An ice cream social will be sponsored by the youth fellowship of the First Methodist church of this city Friday evening, beginning at seven o’clock. The social will be held on the church lawn and home-made ice cream, cake, pie, sandwiches, cold drinks and coffee will be served. Adult coun-
