The Yankees suffered their first! loss in Little League play Wednesday night as they were blanked by the Indians, 2ro, although Wayiie ’Myers, Yankee hurlor, pitched a no-hit game. Starting at 5:30 o’clock, the Indians and Red Sox will complete playing of a protested game, to be followed by a regular game between these two teams. Maumee Valley Wins Tourney At Auburn Mauinee Valley (Allen county) shut out Huntington, 1-0, to win the Northeastern Indiana district (Little League title at Auburn Wednesday evening. Klenk’s Blanks Monroeville In Fed Loop Game Klenk’s of Decatur clinched second place in the Federation league Wednesday night, blanking Monroeville, 10-0, at Monroeville; These same two teams will tangle tonight at Worthman field ht 8 o’clock in the final regularly scheduled game of the season. League managers are scheduled to meet Friday night to set up plans for the double elimination playoff for the first 10 teams. Klenk’s scored all their runs in the first four innings last night while Reed, Ellenberger and Doehrman combined to shut out the Monroeville team.
