Deny Split Between Eisenhower, Dulles On Use OF Troops To Rebuild South Korea WASHINGTON, UP — Administration officials said today there is no split between President Eisenhower and secretary of state Jfohn Foster Dulles on use of U. S. troops to help rebuild South Korea. , ; They said Mr. Eisenhower and Dulles are Ln full agreement that American .forces will give technical assistance only and that has been their idea from the outset. R. Gross, R-la.. Tuesday interpreted the White House statement as a “repudiation” of Dulles and called for his ouster as secretary of state. In further efforts to put down talk of a split between Mr. Eisenhower and Dulles, the state department issued a statement Tuesday night saying Dulles ‘‘neither said nor implied that troops would be used in any sense as “labor battalions' in Korea.”
