SUNSHINE GIRLS HAVE PICNIC t The Flo-Kan Sunshine girls held a swimming parly and picnic' Monday at Pine Lake in Berne. They enjoyed a wedding trip to Atlantic City before returning here, where they will make their home. They will reside on North Thirteenth street. The bride 'was formerly employed inj the office of the Wayne Knitting Mills at Fort: Wajne while the groom ig a cutter at the Schafer Glove plant. He* is the son of Mrs. August Homan of South Eighth street. The Adams County Home Demonstration chorus will meet Monday evening at seven-thirty o’clock in the Methodist church annex at Monroe. Members are urged to attend as the group will rehearse for the 4-H fair at Monroe. Unit 1 of the W. S. W. S. of the Bethany E. U. Mrs. George Lindsey, of Berne, is being treated at the Methodist hospital in Fort Wayne for a brain ailment that has 'been causing intense headaches for months and is considered serious. Boy Uninjured In Tumble From Slide A three-year-old boy visiting local people escaped injury yesterday when he toppled from a ladder on a slide in water works park and fell on his head. James Clingensmith, &on of Mr. and Mrs. 1 Archie Clingensmith. Pittsburgh, Pa., was examined at a doctor’s office late Wednesday afternoon but no bones were broken and he is now getting along "well.” The Clingensmitjis are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Chester Dalzell of 32/ North r inn street.
