SOUTH KOREAN (Continued From Page One) After eight years of talks with Russia oh Korean unification, he said it wa;s no closer today “and we don’t want to sit another eight or 80 years” while the U. |N. discusses Korea’s future. “It is useless,” he said. “If it isn’t going to amount to anything, why' go into it?” Yang said that 98 percent of the South and North Korean people want reunification of all Korea. He said the only difficulty following a “real truce” would be with the small group of hard-core Communists. He said no hlood would be Shed over unification 1 if the Chinese Communists and United Nations forces leave Korea. I “If the 38th parallel were lifted tomorrow,” he concluded, “the Korean people would race into each other’s arms. And then we would have real peace on the Korean peninsula.”
