COUPLE TO MARK ANNIVERSARY JUNE 14 : The Rev. and Mrs. E. J. Glendening/ Geneva, route 2. will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with open house Sunday. June 14, from two o’clock until five. In case of rain it will be held in the Geneva Methodist church. ‘ The Glendenings, who were married June 10. 1903, near Geneva, have five children, one daughter deceased, nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. The children are Mfs. Lloyd Heller. Greenfield. Wilbur Glendening, Hammond. (Melvin Glendening, Elkhart. •Mrs. \ aughn Heller, Indianapolis, end Paul Glendening. Fort Wayne. One grandson. Ist Lt. Philip Heller. is serving with the armed forces in Korea. Rev. Glendening is a member cf the North Indiana conference cf the Methodist church. He has been retired since 1948. His ministerial Career included various charges (Over ’Northeastern Indiana over a (period of 31 years. The well known couple are members of the Geneva Methodist church, where Rev. Glendening teaches the Bible class. ALICE SLUSHER FIANCEE OF RAYMOND EHRSAM Miss Alice Slusher is the fiancee of Raymond E. Ehrsam, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ehrsam of Pleasant Mills, according to an announcement by Mr. and Mrs. Orville Slusher, 204 South Eleventh street, parents of the brideelect. Miss Slusher graduated from Decatur high school. if The bridegroom-elect graduated from Pleasant Mills high school and recently returned from army duty in .Germany where he served fifteen months. Plan Bible School At Zion Lutheran > ! / ’I Vacation School To Open Here Monday Preparations are all made to opeh the vacation Bible school Monday morning. 8:30 o’clock,- at Zloil Lutheran church.
