HELLER HOSTESS TO GARDEN CLUB W’ith the chib collect repeated in Ainison, the regular meeting of the Decatur Garden club .began at the home of Mrs. Henry Heller recently and was followed with Mrs. George Mac Lean giving the verse of the month entitled “The Last Snow.” She also gave a viiid description of the Cypress gardens in Florida, which she had visited\ recently i j Forthcoming \ plans were announced as follows: May 1, the local group will be guests of the Fort Wayne Tulip Garden club for a leelure and demonstration at the Fort Wayne Methodist church; May i 2. a tea and flower show twill be given in Berne by the Berne Garden club; May 12, the' group will combine with the Hose Garden chib fol a May breakfast; and June 6, the two groups will sponsor a flow’er show. ' The contest prize was received at this time by Mrs. O. L. Vance. ORVAL BAUGHMANS ATTEND ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. Orval Baughman of this city, attended a family dinner Sunday in Adai Ohio, honoring the latter’s parents, Mr. and MrK. jf D. Baughmai. of Ada, who were Celebrating their sixtieth wedding anniversary. Mr. Baughman, .whois 81 and his wife, who is are enjoying reasonably'good health. Plan Egg Auction Building At Albion L. E. Archbold, county agent of Adams county attended an egg marketing meeting in Albion Monday. Present at the noon liincheon were Albion C ot C members; R. Shepptml, manager of the Napoleon egg and his directors and, bounty agents of northeastern Indiana. The Albion C of C prompted the egg auction With a deed to 10 acresAof land east of Albion on state road 8. Sheppard stated that the egg auction would erect a building on the land and equip it to receive eggs by early fall. Annual Smorgasbord Supper On May 2 ' The annual smorgasbord supper, sponsored by th© women’s association the First Presbyterian church and open to the public, will be held Saturday evening. May 2, from 5 to 7 o’clock at the Presbyterian chuVch in Decatur, it was announced today by the committee in charge of arrangements. The annual event usually draws several hundred persona and the committee announced that prices for the supper this year would remain the same at fl for adults and 50 cents for children.

Eleven mere votes will I put them over the top with 60 I percent bf their votes cast. ■
