KATHRYN BULMAHN WEDS WILLIAM BOHNKE In a double ring ceremony at six thirty o'clock Sunday evening, Miss Kathryn Jane Bulmahn. became the bride of William' It. I’ohnke. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Martin Bulmahn of route 5 and Mr. and. Mrs. Lawrence Bohnke of n|ear Monroeville. The Rev. W. C. Vetter performed the ceremony in the Immanuel Lutheijan church 'before an altar graced with vases of gladiolus and Snapdragons, Bernard Schultz: was the organist for the occasion. ~ The bride wore a gown of imported Chantilly lace over crystal white satin. It featured a molded bodice with a net yoke beautified with sequins. and long sleevs. Miniature buttons were centered downs the back and her cathedral'length train was of the matching lace _ and. satin. ~ i L' A fingertip veil of illusion was caught to an illusion bonnet and / she carried a white rose bouquet centered with a single orchid. ' Bridesmaids were Miss Mary Bphnke, sister of the groom, and Miss Ruth Ann Bulmahn, sister of the bride. Their green gowns were made similar to the honor attendant. All wore matching headbands of tulle and carried bouquets of yellow\ jonquils tied With satin ribbon. and rhinestone necklaces -were gifts, from the bride. Serving as best man was Richard Bohnke, brother of the groom. Ushers were Edward Bulmahn and Bud Hockemeyer. 4 Both mothers were present in navy dresses' with navy and white accessories. TRI KAPPA STATE CONVENTION BEING HELD Mrs. Franklin Detter and Mrs. Kenneth Runyon are representing the local Tfi Kappa sorority at Indianapolis today and Saturday for the 52nd annual state convention being held in toe Claypool hotel. Mrs. Roy Kalver and Mrs. \Dick Heller of Askqciate Tri Kappa, are also attending the' convention. Tri Kappa members from Indiana will enjpy having tea this afternoon at the governor’s mansion with Mrs. George Craig. \ who is also a Tri Kappa. A| dinner will be held this evening and the Revellers. an Indiana University group will entertain at that time. . T. a] NAMES NEW OFFICERS New officers for the coming year were elected Thursday evening at the Lincoln School\ PTA meeting ak follows: Dr. James Burld president; Mrs. Charles Magley, vice-president; Chester Dalzell, secretary and Mrs. Doyle Collier, treasurer. The recent PTA. school survey was thF subject for discussion during the program and was led - I y Mrs. C. I. Finlayson. Members asked questions pertaining to tie survey \reports which have been distributed to every Lincoln school child’s home. Members of the survey answered the questions as did W. Guy Brown, superintendent of the Decatur schools. group passed a resolution to approve an increase in the school building tax in order to provide adequate funds for building schools for the anticipated increased enrollment. It wws alsp decided that the members of the survey coihmittee will meet regularly with the school board to cooperate fully with their efforts for better education. The Rev. F. H. Willard gave the invocation. An art exhibit preceded the business meeting, and was planned , and arranged by Miss Kathry Kauffman, director of .thje school's art department. 4 D. A. V.
