The Decatur council will act as hostesses for .the convention next .?'■• year.. / GIRL SCOUT LEADERS MEET AT FAIRWAY An anntial luncheon was held at the Fairway restaurant recently by the Girl Scout treaders with Mrs. Watson Mattox, Mrs. Gerald Strickler and Mrs. August Kelly as the hostesses. * The group discussed what donation was to be given by the girls and their leaders for the Girl Scout Little House and Mrs. J. Girl Bicyclist Is Struck By Auto [ Robert T. Helm, 34, rou|e 5, reported to police that, while driving his car, he struck a g|rl on a bicycle at the intersection of Monroe and Third, streets Saturday afternoon. He told police he didn’t have the name of the girl but said she wasn’t injured and; there waa no damage. .

Lbuis--1 ville; 0.. and formerly of Decatur is In serious condition at his Nome in that town. France was injured several months ago in an uuto mishap and was hospitalized for several weeks. He formerly lived in Canton? 0., , where he served as fehlef of police and sheriff. He gained fame as a football player at the University of Michigan many years ago. ?
