ADAMS CENTRAL TEAM HONORED MONDAY EVENING .Approximately 225 parents apd friends honored the Adams Ctentral basketball team and Coac> Max Stanley at -a carry-in-supper Monday evening, prior to regular P. T. A. meeting in the school, gym which, was decorated in the team’s colors of Ired and gray. The Rev John Mishler gave the opening devotions , and after the supper, the guest speaker, of the evening, Phil Olofson, publicity director of the Zollner Pistons, gave several remarks and showed a film of the Minneapolis Lakers ball club in actioij. Coach Stanley then spoke on how the players can carry into life good leadership ability from what they hatl learned participating i,n the high -school sport. Each guest received a small potted plant as a favor. Mrs. Ronald Parrish presided at the model business meeting and reports were given by all the chairmen of the standing committees for the past year. Mrs. Ralph Tyndall of Bluffton, was is grand vice-president of the sorority; then conducted the inspection and also gave an interesting report on various charitable enterprises. Will Seek Juvenile Petition On Painters Adams probation officer Chris H. 4-H Club Council \Will Meet Monday The Adanis county 4-H club council will :meet in the county extension office at 7r34) pun. Monday. Thpy will be asked to consider the >4-H junipr leaders who are to attend the Farm Bureau junior training school at Wabash April 9. Recommendations on these junior leaders are made in the various townshipslby the adult 4-H club leaders and the township Farm Bureau officers. The council alsp has the responsibility of setting up the 4-H club budget. Selections will also begin on 4-H club trip winners on the achievement basis. Among these trips are the 14-H round-up: state fair girls school; start fair 4-H boys camp; aijid Hassmer Hill 4-H blub conservation camp.
