UP —The 755 teams entered in the 43rd annual basketball tourney hoped Lady Luck is with them today as the four-week trail to the title is charted by the Indiana high'school athletic association. The entire pairings will be completed today in the IHSAA offices by its board of control. The details, however, will remain, a close-ly-guarded secret until Thursday morning when the wraps of the whole tourney structure come off. The procedure, as usual, is supervised by IHSAA commissioner L. V. Phillips and assistant commissioner Robert S. Hinshaw, with members of the local\press also sitting in. \ ; . n There was particular interest this year in \ pairings of the big cities — especially jpvansville, South Bend, Gary, Fort Wayne, and? Indianapolis — most of which were considered “wide open." The perfect draw would be for the favorites to be sprinkled through both upper and lower brackets, but they often are bunched in the sqme section with the result that favorites are bumped early.
