MISS HELEN ROOP WEDS WALTER GEHRES Miss Jlelen Roop, only , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Roop this (city, became the bride of Walter Arnold Gehres, eldest son of Mrs. Walter Gehres and the late <Mr. Gehres of Wren, Ohio, in a ceremony read Saturday evening at five o’clock. The Rev. Paul Graeset officiated at the driuble ring vows in the St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed church of Van Wert, Ohio, against a. background of candelbra and gladiolus bouquets. \ Miss Lois Wendel presented a , musicale preceding the nuptials. The bride was attired in a champagne beige wool suit with f>ink accessories, and completed her ensemble with a purple orchid corsage. ' \ ? Milk Prices To Drop In Decatur Tuesday | Decrease In Prices \ Is Announced Today Decatur household budgets are in for relief as of morning as a result of announcement made today by the Smith. Dairy Co. and the Mopes Dairy Co., calling for drops in the prices of all milk products. A spokesman for the dairies said today that homogenized milk will be 21 cents •tomorrow morning in-l stead of the usual 23; pasteurized milk comes down* to 21 ; from 22; coffee cream from, 23 \to 2.1; and chocolate mRk from 2h to 21. Whipping cream is also in. for a drop, ffom 42 cents to 40; buttermilk wiill come down to 21* from 22 cents. Golden Guernsey', distributed by Moses, will drop to 22. The greatest drop in price will be\ experienced on purchases of half-gallon containers. They ceme down to \3B cents from 45, Along With the drop in prices Decatur dairies announced an in-i novation in the distribution of ■ milk —gallon containers. Henceforth ail Decatur dairies will provide milk, at 72 cent* —in gallon containers. Plan Swine School Wednesday Evening A county wide swine school will be held in, the Geneva high school dt 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, county agent L. E. Archbold: The county swine project committee, under the chairmanship of R. S. Myers, will be in charge. R. W. Seerley? swine specialist of Purdue, will be the principal speaker.
