Chase Weird Lights Over Northern Japan Strange Light Balls Chased By Airmen AIR BASE, Japan UP —Strange balls of colored light, sometimes moving slowly and sometimes streaking through the skies ov.er northern Japan so swiftly that a p. S.’ jet couldn’t get near them, were reported pere today. The objects Were seen both on Dec. 29 and Jan. 9, according to CoL Curtis Low, commander o r the 39th air division, which is responsible for the defense of northern Japan. ’ r He said the glowing balls, sighted only a few njihutes flying time from a Russian Far East air base, chahge continuously from red togreen to white.
