Turkey White Meat Only On Airliners! KANSAS CITY, Mo. (UP)—Ordinarily a turkey grower would be reduced to tears, if h*is birds suddenly flew aw-ay,, but Donovan it. Ridlen of Diamond, Mo., is glad his 8,500-bird flock, does. turkeys don’t take to the air under their own power, but the breasts of the birds achieve plenty of altitude — three to four miles — on passengers’ plates in airline planes? z * Trans-World Airlines buys the breasts of Ridlen’s. entire flock — only the breasts because the line’s food service division found that thet majority of passengers leave the dark meat on the plate. Ridlen Hsells (he dark I portions to other buyers. Cool Weather Fare Each November and December Ridlen goes to work with* his hatchet. He kills the flock, carves out the breasts and slowly roasts them to recipe specifications.
