URGENT PLEA ' v (Continued From Pane One) tions. We have received comments from individuals, organizations! and club members that they do not really believe so many of these conditions and fairiilies exist in our city. We do not expect any of jou to take our word for any of this, but we would like for you to ask for one volunteer or more if you prefer, to accompany any of our members on their tour of investigation of these families or to deliver their Christmas boxes to them We plan to make our deliveries from tho fire-station on Tuesday night Dec. 23 and« each arid every one of you are more than welcome to come along with us, while we pack our boxes, or to help vHth their deliveries. In concluding with the purpose of this article, I may 1 ask each reader one question. if’Te whom would ybu turn if your home were suddenly gutted by fire, or flooded by high water. —your friends, —your neighbors—of course you would, because they are ‘Good Fellows’. That is the point Um trying to put across to you. None of us know when something of that nature might happen to us, and when and if it did, w‘e would snrriy like to know that there wks someone right here in Decatur to whom we could turn. These unfortunate and deserving families for the most part cannot help thd fact that they are victims of circumstance, no more than you or I. So come on all of you, “dig a littje deeper and let's ail of you, be, j'Good Fellows in ‘52. A Good Fellow
