Elaborate arrangements are be* 4ng completed for the dedication of the L. A. Pittenger student center building on the campus of Ball State Teachers college at Muncie Thursday, Novetriber 20. The new building is one of the most complete and modern in the country. Members of the Lions club 'will conduct a sale of brooms next week to secure money few the polio fund. A canvass of the city will be made and sales will also be conducted on tlje business streets. The brooms twill sell for |1.95 each. Glen Kean, who has served as sports editor of the Hartford City News-Times, has resigned to accept a position with the Logansport Pharos November 24. Mrs. Edward Shoaf attended funeral services Tuesday for Mrs. Cloyce Springer of Middlebury, Ohio, who was a former school teacher of Mrs. Shoaf’s.
