Plan Second Tenn, Junior High Meets The Adams county athletic association, comprising the principals and coaches of th* Adams county high schools, held their, second meeting of the year at the Monmouth school Tuesday evening. ' I All schools of the county were represented with the exception of Pleasant Mills and Hartford. The meeting opened with a dinner ser‘ved by Mrs. Phyllia Haugk’s senior economcis students. The association decided to conduct a second team tourney and also a junior -high tourney, with dates and cletails of the meets to be announced later. \ \'. The association also set up a “symbol of , a trophy which will rotate among the schools of the eounty in intra-coun-ty games only! The smybol is to be a bell," donated by a Geneva newspaper. At a drawing held for the \symbol, Mompouth will become the first holder of the trophy, and the belt will be at stake for the first time when Monmouth plays at Hartford Nov. 7. This trophy will be at stake only when a county team holding the bell plays another Adams county team. This setup will include the county tourney. Max Stanley, Adams Central coach, is president of the association, and paries Holt, Monmouth coach, is treasurer.
