FATHER AND SON BANQUET HELD AT BAPTIST CHURCH Approximately fathers and sons' attended the six thirty o’clock banquet given in their honor in the Baptist church basement Monday evening. The ladies of the Philo class of the church, served the dinner. Fred Busche the guest speaker for the evening and presented an interesting talk oh his fecent trip to Germany. A quartet, composed of the Portland post ofice employes, furnished musical entertainment and was well received. Harry Hakes was chairman of the affair. < All women-a t-large 1 members, committee chairmen and officers are asked to attend the board of directors meeting of the Girl Scouts with Mrs. T.C. Smith Friday evening at eight o’clock.

A very unusal way of introducing the teachers has been planned and a short program will be given.
