OPENING FALL MEETING » OF ifeISSIONARY GROUP HjELD J The opening fall meeting of theZion’ Lutheran Missionary society was held Wednesday afternoon ill the parish liall. The Rev. Theodore Mikdloii, executive secretary for the Lutheran phild welfare association of Indiana, was the guest speaker. * He talked on child care and stated hbw it had changed in the last few .years, and pointed out: how the I welfare' association Imhny times has acted as a temporary shelter to way word children, .to fit ! them) in a good foster home. A birthday theme was used in the decorations, with a large cake centering the table, and milk glass bowls of antique \ designs filled with pink flowers: Pink favors and pakes were served, each lighted with a blrthdiy candle, y Miis.
