room Eden and Miss Churchill sat on red leather upholstered chairs before registrar J. B. Holiday, who also Miss Taylor. The guests sat on plain wooden chairs behind them or lined flowerbanker walls of the little room. '.S [There were no curtains on the windows. They were sent to the laundry and had'not been returned in time for the ceremony. Gladiolus and other flowers from Churchill’s country home at Chartwall banked the room. Holiday,' who has four other ceremonies to perform today, shook hands with the Edens after the ceremony and said: “May I have the pleasure of w: shing you every happiness and prosperity.” * The civfl ceremony was necessary because Eden has been dive reed. It does not contain the “obey” clause of church weddings. Approximately 7.000 persons jammed the narrow street outside. \ v ‘ “* V ' Trade In a Good Town —Decatur
