Demand Details On Escape From Prison State Department ) Demanding Details WASHINGTON, UP —The state department is drafting a note demanding that thf Communists supply more details on an American youth's strange “escape” from a Czechoslovak prison, it was today. This is byway of. trying to redeem a pledge the department made Monday to the missing youth’s heartsick parents—Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hvasta, Hillside, N. J. John Hvasta, 25-year-old student jailed on trumped-up Red spy charges nearly four years | ago, escaped from notorious Leopoldov prison Jan. 2 and hasn’t been heard from since. One of his fellow inmates, Jaroslav Bures, made his way to freedom and told about it in Munich, Germany, Monday. But Hvasta evidently failed to get oUt of Chechoslovakia. U.S. officials fear he may have fallen back into Communist hands and that he either was killed or returned to prison. But they have no way of telling. That is what they hope to\ find out by sending the note. The Hvastas, and their other son, Steven, 22, went to the department in the hope that the experts might have theories and fact that would sustain their faith John still lives. . ■ • — L -—4A — ' '■ Schricker's First Grandson Born Today PLYMOUTH, Ind.
