Hanna, president of Indiana Bell, said, “Any reduction in telephone rates is unjustified under preseht inflationary conditions; We will have no alternative but to take the case to court.” \ The PSC approved Bell’s toll rates, miscellaneous chargegs and 10-eent coin-box charges. But its order reduced local telephone charges roughly 15 percent—most resiftent reductions ranging from 46 cents to $1.04 per month and business, 98 cents to $'2.71.
