The song of the month, “Let Me Call You Sweetheart,” was sung and its history given. Roll call followed with twenty-six members answering. The business nieeting was then held. Miss Anna K. Williams gave the lesson on ’‘What You Pay for” and a skit was given by Beulah Kruetzman. Olga Reifsteck, Helen Beery, and Elsie Peters. • ’, . During the social hour, refreshments were served by Floral Hildebrand, Irma Hildebrand, \ Irene Peck and Alice Kies to the members, four “visitors and eight children present. PSI IOTA XI PLEDGES ENTERTAIN GROUP Pledges of the Psi lota Xi sorority entertained the other members Wednesday evening at IlnnnaNuttman park with a picnic, supper, beginning at six thirty o’clock. Following the supper, bingo was enjoyed and prizes>awarded to the various winners. Mrs. Ferd Klenk, Mrs. Floyd Reed and the Misses Orina Jean Steller, Agnes Geimer and Jacqule Hite, were in charge of the committees for the evening. The entertaining rooms were c6l- - decorated with bouquets of seasonal flowers and upon the arrival of Miss Geimer, a corsage was presented by the hostesses. Canasta was enjoyed during the evening and prizes were given to Mrs. Herman Geimer, Mrs. Mary Eddington and Miss Mary Ann Laurent, who in turn presented them to the honored guest. At this time, a ball of twine was given to the brlde j elect, and upon winding it up, she found her many gifts. Refreshments followed from small tables with a bouquet centering each one and miniature sprinkling cans, filled with mints, marking each guest's place. Present for the evening were Mrs. William F. Schnepf, Jr., the Misses Dorothy Schnepf, Mary Ann Laurent, Kathleen Terveer, Irene Braun, i Alice Geimer, Vera Geimer, Agnes Geimer, Mrs. Richard Gage, Mrs. Herman Geimer.
