Arthur Holthouse, enjoying a cruise on the USS Wisconsin, writes a card from port to say they will arrive at Greenock, Scotland, June 23, first stop for mail. His address will be USS Wiscon-sin-88-64, stateroom 103, Fleet Postoffice, New York, N. Y. The United Brethren congregation has started work on a new church building iti Bluffton. It will be 36 feet wide and 60 feet deep and have seating capacity for 180 people. Cement block will be used for the construction and most of the work will be done without pdy by the members of the church. They expect to occupy it by November 1. The Rev. S.> C. Martin is the church pastor. Ths report that Mrs;. Dolores Reibhard of Willshire had been arrested in Van Wert for failure to. yield the. ri£ht of way was not correct. High School Music Students Invited High school musicians from Decatur are Invited to the seventh annual high school music clinic for bahds, orchestras, and choruses July 5-13 at Indiana University. Under the direction of three well-known musid conductors the high school musicians will be given a week of practice and performance. June 15 is the date on which applications for the clinic must be in. Conducting the clinic orchestra will be Ernst Hoffman, conductor of the LU. Philharmonic orchestra. George F. Krueger, professor of choral music, will conduct the clinic chorus and Daniel L. Martino, director of LU. bands, the clinic band. Outstanding Indiana high school music teachers will conduct - the sectional rehearsals and will ajso act as counselors. 16-Year-Old Boy Is Killed By Explosion WASHINGTON, Ind. UP—Dean E. Warner, 16, Shoals, died Tuesday of injuries suffered when a home-made electrical contraption exploded in his home. Dr. H. O. Norton, Daviess County coroner, said" the youth suffered infection in abdominal wounds caused by the explosion of a board on which he had rigged eight flash-’ light batteries with copper wire.
