Early of Decatur, route three, has been admitted as a patient in the Van Wert, 0., hospital. W. C. Glendening of Genevk celebrated his 90th birthday this week. Mr. Glendening is still very active, drives his own car and keeps quite busy. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Chase have returned from a several days vacation visiting the New England states and other places of interest. They visited with. Pvt. and Mrs. Niles Williamson, where the former is stationed near Long Branch, New Jersey and Mrs. Chase’s sister, Mrs. James Eck and fanjily of Montoursville, Pa. i Mrs. George Brewer, formerly of route 5, and now of St. Petersburg, Fla., underwent an emergency operation Monday morning in that city. She will be confined to her home for the next two or three weeks. Her address is 46b 24th street North. Mr. and Mrs. Don Fruchte and daughters, Ann and Terry of Dayton, Ohio, are speeding the vweekend visiting friends and relatives. Upon their return, Candy Johnson will spend the week with them in Dayton. Mrs. Jesse Niblick left for Chicago (oday to a week with her sister, Anne Winans Kenny. Mrs. Gladys Chamberlain and Miss Janet Schrock are spending the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Camp and family in Washington, D.C. Mrs, W. p. Schrbck accompanied her daughter and Mrs. Chamberlain as far as Pittsburgh, where she is visiting an aunt. Mr, and Mrs. W. A. Dave Campbell, former Decatur business man, arrived from Padukah, Ky., to join Mrs. Campbell as Quests of their daughter, Mrs. i Charles D. Ehinger. Mrs. Leah Centlivre of Fort Wayne received second decree burns on . her arms as the result of the explosion of a gasoline can. She is repored to be improving. . A new Roman site has been discovered in the heart of London City. It dates between AD 75 and the middle of the 4th century.

Mrs. Betty Ault, who together with her husband will leave for Africa to work in the Mission field early in July, will speak at the Church of the Nazarene Sunday morning at 10:45. The Aults have completed one term on the field and have been for the past year pastors at Goshen while waiting for their return to Africa.
