It ' I Rev. Mervin Taylor Is Ordained Today Ordained Minister F Os Church Os God Th? Mervin ft. son pf 3<r. and Mrs. Lerpy M. Taylor, of 503 N. Seventh street, Decatur, was ordained to the ministry Tuesday at the Northern Indiana district cohfereoce of the Church of God at Angola. Th'e ceremonies were conducted during the assembly. The Rev. Clarence A. McGillen, state president of the ratification board pf the Church of God was the prp- > siding officer, and he was assisted by the Rev. Dwight R. McCurdy, local pastor, and other ordained ministers of the state.,, Rev. Taylor has served as pastor of churches at Munson Chapel, ■Roanoke. RpR, .and Ppneto. He is a graduate pf Depatqr high school and Taylor university. He completed his ministerial course under the direction pf the state board of ministerial studies of the fchurch of God. Rev. Taylor is married to the former Marilyn Carroll, and they are the parents of three children, Rens. Faye, five years olid, Barry Lyni. three, and Kevin Kay. three months.
