Miss Sharon Kay Baker, of Warren, dohsin of the bride, 'waa junior bridesmaid, in a gown styled like that of the matron of honor, of orchid taffeta with a wide sash of z matching material tied in black. , She wore a wreath of orchid flowers ip her hair and woi> short white glotes. Her gift from the bride was a strand of pearls and matching bracelet, and her bouquet was of jonquils tied with qrchid ribbon. Lennyce Elaine Baker, cousin of the bride, of Warren, was flovfer girl in a white organdy gown, featuring a full skirt and a square neckline odged with ruffles. She wore a wreath of white flowers in her hair and a pearl necklace and bracelet Was her gift from the bride. Short white gloves completed her attire. She carried a basket of spring flowers. The bride’s mother wore a grey figured ctepe with pink and navy accessories and a corsage of white carnations. The groom’s mother selected a. grey dotted crepe with black and white accessories and a pink corsage Os carnations.k I ! The groom’s best man was Kenneth Conner, his brother, apd the ushers were Garth Haines, bjother-in-law of the bride, and Lawrence! Conner, brother of the groom. ' Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held in the cliurch basement. The bride’s table was centered with at three tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature hride and groom. Huckleberry foliage was used; for the table decoration. Serving at the reception Were Miss Ruth Patch of who cut the weddinjg cake for serving, and Mrs. Ho war d Baker, aunt of the bride and Mrs. Garth Haines. For traveling the bride changed to a navy and pink pin checked suit with navy accessories and an orchid corsage. •' •. > The new Mrs. Conner Is a member of this year's graduating class of Pleasant Mills high school. Pvt. Conner, a graduate of Bluffton high school, is serving with the 101st Airborne Division,, Stationed at Camp Breckinridge, Ky. He will enter leadership training school on his return, and his wife will reside hnr parents in Decatur for the present. APRIL MEETING OF GROUP HELD WEDNESDAY The April meeting pf the terian Women’s Association was held at the church Wednesday. Mrs, ‘Robert Macklin, president, was in charge. The hymn, “My Faith Looks up to Thee,,” opened the session and was followed with prayer.
