chantilly lace, featuring a scalloped neckline outlined with seed pearls, with the full skirt ending in a chapel length train. She wore a strand of pearls,\ a gift of the groom, and carired a bouquet of white roses centered with an orcjiid. Mrs. Marvin D. Watkins,: sister of the bride, wore an American Beauty gown of net and taffeta, and her headpiece was of yellow; net, and she carried a bouquet of yellow roses. Gerald Roomier of Fort Wayne served his brother as best man. The bride’s mother and the groom’s mother wore corsages of white carnations. A reception was held following the ceremony in the church basement for approximately 175 guests. The serving tables were decorated in pink and white ‘with a three tier wedding cake forming the centerpiece. Serving the guests were the Misses Mary Alice Steury, Mary Jane Steury, Delores Graber and Rheta Mae Butcher, all cousins of the bride, and Mrs. Chris Steury, Mrs. William Thompson and Mjss 'Rachel Schwartz, aunts of the bride, i U" ‘ When the young couple left for a short wedding trip, the new Mrs. Koomler was wearing a red suit with navy accessories and a corsage of white roses from her bridal bouquet. Slight Decrease In Automobile Mishaps 29 Accidents Here* During Last Month There was a slight decline in automobile mishaps in Decatur during the month of-March as cofripared with February, cllef of police James Borders stated today as. he prepared his monthly police rqport. There were- 29 accidents in the city and three personal injuries,> none of a serious nature, the report shows. There were 31! mishaps during February. ; 1 Twenty-fouß of. the mishaps were collisions of automobiles or trucks; one mishap was a bicyjcle accident : two pedestrians were struck, by motorists, and* two automobiles struck fixed objects. Police made 344 flails during March and the police par travelled a total of 5,305 There were' 33 arrests and six warnings were issued. .
