MRS. GEORGE STULTZ HOSTESS TO SORORITY - I The Delta Lambga .chapter of Beta Sfcma Phi sorority met .with Mrs. George Stultz Tuesday for a regular business meeting. i J During the business session, an Invitation was read to the group to attend the founder's day party of the Beta Beta Chapter in Fort Wayne April 28, at the Y.M.C.A. The members also voted to donate to the crißpled children’s fund arid to The Red Cross. During the cultural lesson, Grace Weiland gave an interesting, discussion on literature. Election of officers was held and Mrs. Clarence Ziner ds president, Mrs. Nila Neal, vice-president; Mrs. Glen Hill, recording secretary;. Mrs. George. Stultz, corresponding secretary; Mrs. Robert Lane, treasurer, add Mrs. Francis Ellsworth, extension officer. During the social ndur which followed, Mrs. Staulz served refreshments. The next meet|pg will be a buffet dinner with Mrs. James Elberson, with the initia- ; tion of pledges and installation of officers.

'' RUTH AND NAOMI CIRCLE MEET J Eighteen members and four guests attended the meeting of the Ruth and Naomi Circle at the home of Mrs. Henry Graber Wednesday afternoon. The program began with silent prayer by the members. Mrs. Charles Meyers, leader for the afternoon, used for her topic, “In every place,” "Churches for our country’s need,” and Mission to America now'.” j Mrs. Harry Fraughiger. chairman president, presided over the business meeting and plans were completed for a chicken supper at the Zion Evangelical and Reformed church Saturday, May 3. At the close of the session, refreshments were served by the hostesses, Mrs. Henry Graber and Mrs. Orville Slusher. KIRKLAND; GROUP HOLDS MEETING The Kirkland Ladies Aid (met at the high school recently with twenty two members and four visitors present. Ivy Andrews led theV devotions and Dorothy Shady led in the group singing. The program committee consisted of Bejtty Tinkham. Ida . Smith. Mary Stucky and Lois DeVor. It was decided to have a hospital party at thie veterans hospital in Fort Wayne April 10. College Choir At Methodist Church Tuesday, April 8 Tuesday, April 8. the Mount Union College choir of Alliance, Ohio, will present a secred concert at the First Methodist chuhch in Decatur. This concert will be part of the spring toyr made annually by the choir. Pal mSunday the choir will sing in the largest churches of Davenport, lowa. They will be nearing the end of their itinerary during Holy Week; and will give their Tuesday concert that week ip Decatur. This fine choir of 42 voices has not only given nirmeriehoir. Palm Sunday the choir will cpme to Decatur with the experience gained from the major part of their spring tour. J Director of the choir is Prof. Cecil Stewart, director of Mount Union’s music department, and close friend of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Embler of Decatur, j Plans are now being made to entertain the choir wh«i It sinks in Decatur. Persons Wishing to provide ovur-night entertainment and breakfast for two or more students should pall Mrs. Everhart at the church office any week-day afternoon.
