Mrs. ROY KALVER TO C HEAD WOMAN'S CLUB Mrs. Roy Kalver was elected president of the Decatur Woman's! club at the annual meetingof members held at-Library hall last evening. ’ v ‘ , Other officers elected are: Mrs. Harry Dailey, first vice-president; Mrs. Nornfan Kruse; second-vice-president; Mrs. Glen Dickerson, treasurer, and Miss Alice Tumbleson., secretary. The new officers will be in-i stalled next fall. Mrs. R. C. Hersh is the retiring president. Busche Shows Films Colored films taken by E; W. Busche, Monroe banker arid Purdue master \farmer, on his fourth trip to Europe last year, were shown to the members. Busche and daughter. Miss Louise Busche, high school teacher of Elqhart, went by plane to Germany last summer, j Two reels of pictures taken in the; Frankfort and Hamburg areas of Germany were shown;; Pictures taken in Rome and Vatican City and other historic places in Italy by Miss Busche when she visited a girl exchange student in the Eternal City, were shown. In addition to the European films, pictures taken by Busche and daughter on a recent visit to Florida were shown. Busche, who came ,to the United States when he was 15 years old. was the narrator of the picture show? The films were shown by Lowell Smith of the Decatur high school staff. Mrs. Adrian Wemhoff was chairman of the program and the speaker was presented by "Mrs. R. D Myers. Mrs. Ralph Yager was •chairman of the nominating committee.
