Jackets Lose Final Game On Road Saturday Decatur's Yellow Jackets dropped their find) road game of the season Saturday tiigfit, losing tothe powerful Fort Wayne Central Tigers, 70-35, at the North Side gym. • '' • The Jackets gave the tigers a rugged battle throughout the entire first half,\ but Central’s superior size took Us toll and the Jackets weakened in the finfil two Periods as the Tigers rolled on tb their decisive-victory. The Jackets took an early 6-2 lead but Central finally went out in v front at 7-6 and held a 9-7 buigb at the end of the first quarter. " * ' -, X ■■■ Th? . Tigers picked up speed in the second period, scoring 13 points to Decatur’s eight, and Central held a 2f-15 advantage at half-time. The Tigers began to roll with the opening of the third quarter and .assumed a IS-23 bulge as the tepms entered the final eight mfenites of play. jgjentral’s fire starts scored all Tigers’ points, Johnny Overh<xt leading with 22 markers.
