11th Frame To Hold Opening Here Saturday „ Formal Opening Os Cocktail Lounge Saturday Evening .?>; Cart ••Molly” Mies, owner of the Ml®» Recreation, announces' tire formal opening of the nth Frame cocktail lounge tn the Mies building on N. Second street, Saturday night. 1 ? • The nth Frame, a take-off from the 19th green -in golf parlance, and applied to bowling, la a‘modern, restful, lounge, completely new. - f • 'Hie former cocktail in \ the building was destroyed by fire last Nov. 5. From floor covering to celling, the room has been newly furnished with modern chairs and tables, a new bar and back «b«. It is decorated in greed, highlighted with white birch doors and woodwork. Entrance to the lounge is from Second street and a door from the bowling alley. Assisting in the construction and decoration of the lounge were the Imltemeier Construction company, Decatur Plumbing A Heating Co., Electric company. Milton T. Bnesener of the B. J. Rural Youth Holds Valentine Party Special Party Held I Thursday! Evening Thirty-stx rural youth members end guests attended the Valentine party Thursday evening at the Preble township recreation center near Magley. The meeting opened with mixers led by Esther Sowards. .Jim Merriman, county president, opened the business meeting. Devotions *ere led by Coleen Allmandinger .and group edging was led by Wavy Lehman. ? Guests from Adams, Allen, Wells and Grant counties were introduced and welcomed. Plans were majde for the basketball and volleyball play-offs. It was announced that the Adams county boys* basketball team will play the Grant county team Friday night. The group discussed sending boxes ■to the members in sertlce on their birthdays. New meml«ers who joined the club were: Barbara Kelljyj .Marlene Aumafl, Roselyn Kuhn, and Clarehce OettIng. After adjournment •of the business session, the group madh Ice cream- A spelling bee. iwon by Marlene Aunisa. was conducted by Anna K. Williams, extension advisor. I '?
