ST. PAUL LADIES AID • IN ALL DAY MEETING The St. Paul United Brethren Ladies Aid society met at the home of- Mrs. Lyle Frans Wednesday for sn ali-day quilting. A potluck dinner was served at noon. The afternoon meeting opened with the hymn “What a Friend”' and Mrs. Clara Dague read Psalm i 19. followed with chain prayer. There were fourteen members present. MONROE W.C.T.U. GROUP MEETS ON THURSDAY The Monroe W.C?. T.U. met Thursday afternoon in the Methodist church annex. Devotions were given by Mrs. Vernon Riley, using ’ the twenty-third Psalm, and the opening song was “W hat a 1 Friend.” Mrs. Homer Winteregg conducted the business meeting, during which letters from servicemenl were read by Mrs. Raymond Crist. The regular secretary’s and treasurer’s reports were given." A reading entitled “A Soul to Keep” was given by Mrs. LOuis Mattax. and one entitled “Young J Mothers Enlist” .by Mrs. ,f, John Christner, Jr. Sandra (Tamer P , sang a vocal solo, “Little Jewels” • \ and Mrs. Ada Crist gave the poem , f “I Wish my Mommy didn’t
