ADAMS CENTRAL P.T.A. t MEETING AT MONROE The November meeting of the Adams Central Parent Teachers Association was held lAst evening ’at the grade school building in Montoe. The Rev. Vefnon Riley, pastor of the Monroe Friends church, led the devotions, using Thanksgiving as his subject, and group singing was led by Martin Steiner. Mrs'. Dan Striker, vice-president, was in charge of the program, in keeping with the centennial of J the Indiana constitution. A reading, “When Yoij Know a Fella" by Edgar A. Guest, was given by Herman Arnold and Sandra Cramer and Paul Riley played a piano duet. Paul Lobsiger, P.T.A. president, introduced Judge Myles F. Parrish, who spoke on “The Judici-, ary; Guardian of Our Sacred Liberties.” Selections from the Monroe township male quartet closed the program. Miller entertained at a party Sunday afternoon for her niece. Miss Marcile Geels, bride-elect of November 24. Mrs. Ralph Roop, president. opened the meeting and devotions were givipn by Mrs. Frank Fisher and Mrs. Roy Taylor. The Rev. Mervin' Taylor and Dbrcaf and Ixiuann Davidson favored the group with a number of vofcal selections. At the business session it was voted to have a $1 gift exchange and potluck supper at the Christmas meeting. The closing prayer was offered by Mrs. Charles Robenold.
