Circle of the First Methodist W,S.CjS. met Monday evening in the cliurch basement with nineteen members present. Devotions were given by Mrs. R.E. Allison, assisted by. Mrs. Milo Habegger. . 1 ! The lesson for the evening was presented by Mrs. Hugh Andrews. She .gave a review of the first three chapters of “We Americans: North and South.” by Dr. <5. Howard. Miss Etta Mallonee some interesting information concerning the author. Mrs. G. L. Brayton told a story from the book “fie Wears Orchids.” Announcement was made of the December W.S.CjS. general meeting. planned for December 13. at eight o'clock, in the church * It will be family night and the program win be “Our Talents.” The Evening circle will be in charge refreshments. The Junior Chamber of Commerce will help with the collection and distributing of the toys. A report on the Beta Province convention, held at Columbia City November 3 and 4. was given by Mrs. Paul Reidenback and Mrs. Bob Colter. GIRL SCOUTS ADD GlItL SCOUT. Girl Scout Troop 20 met at the homb of Mrs, Smith last Wednesday. Dues were collected a discussion was held in regard to Girl Scout calendars for 1052. After dinner an organisation meeting was held to combine r bptih troops into one, which will be called Troop 11. There* will be three leaders for the fifteen Bth and 9th grade girls, Mrs. Paul Hancher, Mrs. Roger Schuster and Mrs. Chester Dalzell.' Nine girls and two leaders have made arrangements to attend th'e Waynb King show at the Quimby Auditorium this coming Friday 1 night. The next meeting will be a Christmas party on December 3.
