Red Cross Classes Open Here Tuesday Mrs. Ed Bauer, Red Cross volunteer services chairman, announces that applications are still being accepted for classes in staff aide I and canteen training. The classes I will begin next Tuesday a* 1 p.m. at Red Cross headquarters. Upon completion of the training, 'certificates wiU be issued by the American Red Crosa. Those certified will become eligible to serve either at the bloodniobile operations er in event or a disaster, in the county. Methodist Youth To Observe Anniversary Part Os Centennial Program At Church The next major event sh the current month-long centennial celebration by the Decatur Methodist church is planned for the youth of the congregation. This program will be held In the church dining room, beginning at 5^ JO p.m. Sunday. ' , The carry-in supper event is planned for all the intermediate and senior XP«th of the congregation. Luther Schrock, senior youth fellowship president, will preside. Leah Brandyberry, intermediate president, will be devotional leader. Group singing will be led by Jack Lawson, and special music will be provided by Dana Dalzell and Sheila Ahr. Carol Elzey will bf pianist. ; Special speaker for the occasion will be Mrs. Ralph W. Graham, Marion. Dr. Graham will also attend the program, and \preach in the sanctuary service at 7:30. The Graham fa&ily lived in this city 1937-41 when Dr. Graham was minister of the local church' He is present pastor of the’First Methodist church In Marion. V Following the 7:30 worship service, a fellowship hour will be arranged by the Wesley class in the lecture room. The 5:30 program is reserved for youth and their counsellors; the public is invited to the 7:30 service. \ The pastor, the Rev. Samuel Emerick, also announced that plans have been completed for the services on Sunday, October 28. This will mark the beginning of a weeklong anniversary preaching miesiop, with Dr. John G.
